Bad Dog

So lately Reuben has been a bad boy.... I think at 8 months he has decided that he loves plastic things, stretchy things, and any paper product (maybe he is just using his own form of recycling!). Some casualties include my custom orthotics, Daniel's polarized sunglasses, my patagonia bras, and the latest is our ac adapter for our computer which resulted in the quote of one of our following blog title entries.above is the product of me being in the post office for ten minutes (ten cd cases chewed into tiny shards and maps in various stages of disarray). I swear when I came back that Reuben was looking at me saying "when you were gone there were robbers, during the struggle they got away with this, but with sheer heroics and bravery Iwas able to stop them before they stole the car, I've stood watch since then in case they came back, honest."

And here's a picture of when his mom locked him in the bathroom while she took a shower because she didn't trust him and stepped out to find this:

*sigh*

RE: Reuben unrolling the toilet paper. It comes from Daniel's side of the family. I recall a time when Daniel and Mark were just past 2 years old. John had left to go to Alaska and see if there were any teaching positions available and I was left with the twins in Idaho. The boys were down for a nap so I decided to pack up a couple of boxes. After a while I heard a noise and Mark and Daniel were INSIDE the fireplace tossing out all of the ashes onto the livingroom floor and onto the the white muslincurtains. They were full of ashes and soot from head to toe, so off to the bathtub they went. I was vaccuuming up all the ashes and soot when I heard another noise, two 2 year old boys laughing....into the bathroom I went and there they were. Two naked boys who had unrolled a brand new full roll of toilet paper into the bathtub and started to toss the wet, soggy paper onto the wall and ceiling. Thankfull, just at that moment my friend, Judy Tousely, happened by, looked at the situation, grabbed the boys, some diapers and left the house as soon as she could. She could see death and dispair in my eyes! If she hadn't come by both Daniel and Mark would have come to an early end!!!!!!!! So.....Reuben is just doing what his dad Daniel has dome before. So sorry Elisif but that is how it is with the Harro Boys. Love, Mama Harro
