Lopez Relaxation

After some marathon days of work to pay the bills, John and Denise (Mama and Papa Harro), Daniel, and I headed up to Lopez Island for some R&R. I'm having a hard time describing how relaxing Lopez is. The majority of our days were spent reading/napping in the sun interspersed with some hiking/bakery/beachtime. There is nothing you have to do...unless you want to... the scenery is to die for....the weather was amazing....and you can only hear the sounds of birds chirping , no road noise, no city noise, just peace and quiet. Not to mention the food. When Rich and Nina Gartland and John and Denise are together there is no lack of good food to eat. Scones, cookies, homemade bread and jam, steak, pasta, etc....homemade and so so good. Reuben got to go too and hang out with Colin's service dog Benny. Definitely some teenage boy dog fun was had by the two of them. So much fun that they actually went on a little unsupervised adventure. Luckily, praise the lord, they were found about a mile away frolicking in the water!
A Full Semi-Circle Rainbow appeared the first night we were there
They cut and baled the hay field the next day we were there
A Little Hiking

A Little Puppy Love

Of Course Daniel was most excited about the fire boat ;-)
